Cuny Queens Substitute Paraprofessional Tour
BECOME A PARAPROFESSIONAL
The Citywide Council for District 75, in partnership with UFT & DIAL is hosting a Queens - based Substitute Paraprofessional Tour at P721Q on January 30th, 2026 from 9:30 - 11:30 AM.
This tour is part of the Council's ongoing CUNY pipeline initiative, designed to provide prospective substitute paraprofessionals with direct, real-world exposure to District 75 classrooms and the daily work of supporting students with complex needs.
WORKSHOP HIGHLIGHTS:
Participants will:
- Observe classroom environments and instructional supports
- Learn about the role and responsibilities of District 75 paraprofessionals
- Engage with school leadership and District partners
- Participate in same-day nomination pathways into the substitute paraprofessional pool
