Dear P.S. 119 Families,
As we head into the final week of October, we are hosting a Costume Day at P.S. 119 on Friday, October 31st, 2025! Students in all grades can participate. If your child would like to participate, students should arrive at school wearing their costumes. Just a few reminders about costumes:
- Costumes should be simple so that students' movements are not restricted. (no inflatable costumes please)
- Students should be able to use the bathroom, participate in specials, and enjoy recess without needing assistance to remove their costumes.
- Make sure your child has no simulated and/or pretend weapons or props.
- Costumes should be non-scary and appropriate for a school setting with no derogatory language.
- No Masks or Face Makeup are allowed.
